Plano Health M.D. has studios in Salon Suites of Plano. The clinic can be accessed by the suite 375 entrance and is in studios 202 and 209. It does not take walk ins and no insurance is accepted. Prices are the most competitive in Plano.

Dr. Steve Rakkar is an M.D. who has practiced Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Urgent Care. He has had about 100,000 patient visits, including about 10-20,000 pediatric visit and performed tens of thousands of X Rays.
He has practiced Aesthetics for approximately 20 years. He has given thousands of Botox injections: around the forehead, eyes, face, lips, neck, hands and axillae. He has also given thousands of filler injections around the nose, lips, other areas and also has done many lip augmentations to make the lips look fuller… this is called a lip augmentation. He has done many traditional Jessners and stronger trichloroacetic acid face and hand peels, minor cosmetic surgeries, mole removals, and other skin therapies such as laser/intense pulse light. He now focuses on what he thinks works best, give you the best use of your funds, without any suggestions of more work. He works conservatively for your best interests.
Unquestionably Dr. Rakkar has had many years of experience on three continents: Australia, England, and the USA.
Dr. Rakkar is married to a nurse and has four children. He loves to sail, run and listen to music.
Provider Qualifications:
Dr. Rakkar is an M.D. He studied at Kings College and medical school at St. Georges Hospital in London UK.
He has trained in anesthesiology, family medicine, and has completed multiple courses in Aesthetic Medicine. He is board certified. He was on staff at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano for many years, and operated his own urgent care, and aesthetic spa for about 30 years. He has practiced emergency medicine for about 8 years.
This is far more training than nurse practitioners, physician assistants and “advanced” nurse practitioners. They are not M.D.s
